ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 scores success despite economic challenges
Good showing sets the stage for third combined show
15 July 2010, Shanghai – The second ITMA ASIA + CITME exhibition ended on 26 June 2010 on a high note, with participants hailing it a major success. Despite persistent economic challenges, business sentiments on the show floor were buoyant with many exhibitors clinching orders from the Chinese and other Asian buyers.

CEMATEX and ITMF announce the first World Textile Summit
Shanghai, 23 June 2010 - CEMATEX, the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers and the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) have announced a high-level business forum, to take place next year alongside the ITMA 2011 show, in Barcelona, Spain.
The ITMA-ITMF World Textile Summit 2011 will be a one-day event that brings together textile-industry leaders and some of the world’s most influential thinkers and policymakers in strategically important fields such as economics, trade, technology and sustainability.

IFAI’s Advanced Textiles conference to be held at ITMA 2011 Barcelona
CEMATEX partners with IFAI at Olympics of textile machinery industry
21 June 2010 – As if the largest textile machinery trade show wasn’t enough of a draw, participants at ITMA 2011 in Barcelona will have the opportunity to attend a very special technical textiles conference. The Industrial Fabric Association’s Advanced Textiles ’11 continues to be a unique and sought-out European/U.S. platform on the future of technical textile applications.
The European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX) has invited IFAI to organize its fourth advanced textiles conference alongside its machinery exhibition on three consecutive morning sessions: 26-28 September 2011. ITMA, owned by CEMATEX has been held every four years since 1951, and is the world's largest international textile machinery exhibition.
